How to set up a repeat prescription

Pop into your local branch of Pharmacy and ask our pharmacy staff to register you for the repeat prescription collection service.

Then, you’ll need to contact your GP and authorise us to collect your prescription on your behalf. This way we can receive and prepare your prescription automatically.

Get your repeat prescriptions in 3 easy steps

Once the service is set up there are three easy steps to take:

1. Order your prescription from your Doctor or Health Centre as normal. Advise them that Periville Pharmacy will collect the prescription.
2. Phone your local branch of Pharmacy and let them know you have a prescription ready to collect. We’ll advise you when it will be ready.
3. We will then collect your prescription and prepare your meds as required ready for you to collect.

It’s as simple as that!

Repeat prescription service is only available if you have regular medication. If you need a new prescription or need to change the medication you are using, you may still need to see your GP.

How our prescription delivery service works

Our prescription delivery service has its own driver so your meds will be delivered by the same friendly face each time. We cover Bury, Radcliffe, Haywood and Ramsbottom.

To set-up the delivery:

First, you’ll need to come into the store and apply for the service. We’ll need to check that you live in our delivery area and that you qualify for this service.

We also need to collect your bank account details so we can process any prescription charges. All data is strictly confidential and held securely.

You tell us which address you would like your prescription delivered to. It could be a relative or carer, whoever is best for you. However, they’ll need to live within our delivery area, of course.

Then when your next prescription is ready for you, we’ll do the rest. And you can sit back and relax.
